I'm not sure. Sadly, the natural immigrant response is to keep one's head down and be the "good sort" of immigrant. And racists have always taken advantage of that.

Perhaps for recent generation immigrants. Folk whose grandparents arrived in the 40s, 50s and 60s will be less inclined to take it. A ln increasingly racist environment will come a shock rather than an expectation.
