Let's hang Farage's "ICE-style enforcement" around his neck like a concrete albatross. Let's show people what that looks like. A majority does not want this.

Can’t we just hang an actual concrete albatross round his neck and send him out into la Manche in a dinghy?

I fear that most British people will accept this because they don't expect it would affect them, and when they are sent to the camps it'll be too late

Which is what happened in the US. This is why it is important to see.

Absolutely. But - as you know - the Labour leadership (ie those who should be doing this) seem to lack the cojones!

May I respectfully suggest you look to a French precedent (I know hard for the UK), France, 1792 — guillotines worked.

After he's pulled us out of ECHR & repealed HRA he can send his thugs to kidnap anyone from the street & ignore all due process. Even supporter of his racist policies should be alarmed. Without EHCR their "can't happen to me" "done nothing wrong so nothing to fear" self assurances will mean nothing.

Urgo, confused and needing cake... @urgocakelord.bsky.social

But let's have UK ICE entry requirements - fit enough to qualify for the military, intelligent enough to enter a mid-ranking civil service post, plus they have to publicly declare dedication to his cause. Guessing one minibus should suffice for any national deployment...

15% of the country wants it, and it's the only 15% the political establishment consider legitimate.

As bad as this is, I am relieved to see that the people are not tolerating this. When similar incidents occurred in my country (Germany) most of the people did not have the courage to speak up. And most obviously the “police “ wouldn’t bother to show their faces.

Whenever he’s stupid enough to actually name a policy he should be constantly questioned on every detail of that policy and all his incompetence and past failures should be laid out for all to see

And not just focus on *what* he wants to do, but from *where* he's getting his ideas. 51st State anyone? Stephen Miller, Bannon and pals giving Farage his ideas? Yeah, that'll be popular.

As said above, Faggy just parrots Trump: DOGE, ICE, etc, he's devoid of original ideas. His inability to read the room outside of MSM and RW circles is reflected by his HUGE U-turn on deportations yesterday, one the MSM gently called a 'rowing back', dropped completely from BBC news by the evening.

It's been slightly cheering to see that Farage's latest speech has not exactly gone down well in the UK with a lot of criticism heading his way, causing him to row back on some of the appalling nonsense he came out with.

That’s a good suggestion. My fear is that although a majority doesn’t want this, an increasingly vocal and emboldened minority positively salivates at the prospect of this kind of brutality, and they’ll wave flags and taunt while posting similar footage with glee.

The alternative is that we continue to discuss it in the rosy terms he presents it, rather tha the reality of what it means. Which seems much more dangerous.
