That's not really my point. If they came the legal way, that wouldn't be a problem. Equally, a lot of people living in Britain don't have a year's worth of resources to cover food and rent.

By claiming asylum they did come the legal way. That's how it works. The problem is the gov't is taking much too long in processing their ppwk.

You're missing the point. Illegal immigrants crossing the channel in boats are not asylum seekers. If they were, they would have claimed asylum in the first safe country they arrived in.

I'm very happy to have immigrants come to this country, brown or white. I'm just stating the facts. If you think that makes me a racist then you don't know what racism is.
