A tasting room in deep blue Soquel, CA might seem like a strange place to meet Trump supporters. But over the smooth sounds of solo Donald Fagan, you can hear whispers that DEI is the reason the reserve pinot is $45.

Real Dan fans know it’s spelled ‘Fagen.’
i mean
If it’s Farm Cottage it’s totally worth it.
Bargetto went so downhill post-pandemic!
I loved it. Great space for tasting, great yacht rock playlist.
Yeah amazing location! But better wines a decade ago, and staffed by fun old guys that never stopped pouring. Wines got a little worse and staff got a lot crankier.
The wines were good but not great.
What a glorious time to be free…
Tonight the night belongs to Mona When she's dancing all alone Forty floors above the city CD spinnin', AC hummin', feelin' pretty.

Solo Don Fagan? LOL awesome drop!
They played the most amazing yacht rock list.
10/10, just like that pinot noir
This is too good. ChatGPt is going to steal it and it will appear word for word in the Times in a few weeks.
I prefer the reserve Pinto.
It’s a great area for tasting AND DEI.
this was good
"Just when it seems so clear That it's over now Drink your big black cow And get out of here"
Played that too
That’s a bit of pretzel logic if you ask me.
The Bargetto olallieberry wine doesn't seem to be produced anymore, which is a shame
You can't make pinot with white grapes after all.
Soquel has fallen. 😩
Downtown Santa Cruz just hasn't been the same ever since O'Neill's Surf Shop shut down. But now that Trump is sending the National Guard to California, the locals feel hope is just around the corner.
They’re driving up from Freedom and Watsonville.
You have clearly been to Santa Cruz area wineries, haven't you?
My wife grew up in Aptos. I love Santa Cruz mountain syrah.
I am in love with Wright Station currently, in the Los Gatos foothills. So many good wineries around here
