This mass gutting of the FBI is going on all over the country. FBI agents are being fired for not swearing the Führereid of loyalty to Trump. And nearly all of the people who are being fired are Republicans, too. Yet US media is largely ignoring everything that is going on.
This is terrible, but there are two reasons it is not bigger news: 1. It is not the most terrible thing this administration is doing, maybe not in the top ten. 2. It is totally predictable. Patel was put in the job solely for this purpose. He has NO qualifications besides loyalty.
