Alford is a sanctimonious asshole.
Missourian here. Dont give him credit he doesn't deserve. He's still a Trump shill & a monster. He just likes to see the faces & hear the voices of the people he's ignoring.
Good for him. Now if he learned something and doesn't go back and rubberstamp, perhaps I'll have a chance in the midterms, if we have any.
Alford is a p.o.s. He literally asked a constituent why she came to hear him lie. Every breath he takes is a lie--and I.can't.wait.till.he.stops.lying.
It's not about winning people over, it's about representation. If he is not representing the will of his constituents, he is not doing his job. End of story. The job is not to convince the public of how wonderful Trump is or how great the policies are. Make representatives afraid again (civilly).
Isn't listening to blasphemers is a serious offense in #MAGAt-ville?
He has said many stupid things that made the audience very angry, which is what the media should focus on instead of the total number.
Like this guy he smirked at? bsky.app/profile/acyn...
“I may not win them over, but I’ll be able to sleep at night knowing that I at least listened to them.” Hearing but not listening is patronizing. You don't get any points for that. $50 Billion to keep rural hospitals open across the country is a bad MAGA joke.
And he'll feel free to not represent them for his own, ...er, I mean their own good.
