Haha just try that in Texas and find out how long it takes your home to cool from 90⁰F every evening

90? Try 100 up in the northeast with 85% humidity.
I've lost electricity in summer before, in Texas. I'm judging by the idea of losing service at 7 am with the house at 72⁰. Home insulation prevents it getting to 100⁰ even on 105⁰ days.
Still an issue with expansion and humidity impacts over time.
