The story built during summer of 1980. I followed it. I've run in "Terry Fox runs" that continue the work of the Terry Fox Foundation. "The Terry Fox Story" (1983) is good. But - when he started running across Newfoundland, he ran long miles (roughly a marathon each day for 143 days) w/o attention.

Hey I really do appreciate this information My husband and I recently retired and do quite a bit of traveling around in our van ( just took 11 K drive round ‘merica) we are planning to spend time in the northern parts of US and the Great Lakes area next summer..
