Admittedly, I missed the anti-trans & anti-homeless things. But he WAS mayor of San Francisco, one of the most LGBTQ cities in the world & full of homeless people. So he’s not uninformed. (Unlike those chickenshit members of Congress too afraid to step outside their offices cause, big scary city.)
Yes he’s informed and knew exactly what he was doing. Which makes it worse and makes me trust him less. He knows better. His little stunt didn’t give him the momentum he was after, but did a lot of harm to trans and and LGBTQ people. He needs to backtrack fully from his transphobic comments.🏳️⚧️

Yes 🙌🏽 it’s wonderful what he did - banned CAschool districts from notifying parents of their child's gender identification change. Right on! So why legitimise attitudes & efforts to keep those same children from playing sports in school? It doesn’t make sense. 🤷🏽♀️
