On the #Dressage front: This decision was too-long coming, but it is finally here. The HORSES win today, and our human members win today, too. We MUST remain vigilant AND reasonable. I hope #USEF and #USDF recommit to this decision on the national level: inside.fei.org/media-update...

I’m glad the decision was finally made. And, though severe, it’s quite appropriate. Ego, arrogance, and disregard for our equine partners’ welfare have no place in any sport involving these noble animals.

I actually think he should have been banned for life....although he will be 80 years old before the ban ends, and I hope the dressage community blacklists him after that on their own.

Yes, I thought the same, but you’re quite right, 15 yrs is, to all intents, the rest of his life. I know, specifically, that his business has, for the most part, dried up. Certainly no equestrian looking to move up in Dressage, will work with him.

I have been in the dressage scene in S. FL for decades; long before he came on the scene. He was abusive for FAR too long, and not because it wasn't reported. And NGBs in the industry turned a blind eye to HIM for far too long, while falsely accusing others. FEI/USEF finally got this one right. πŸ™„
