Not at all, but there are a lot of stabbings every year and people die. Nothing would stop this sick fuck from walking into a playground with a knife and stabbing kids. I have guns, they don’t just jump outta my safe and shoot people. You have to be a sick fuck to shoot anyone.

We have a mental health problem in this country. The amount of people who have anxiety, depression and other mental health issues has exploded since 2000. They used to put them in hospitals, and now people don’t want to do that so we get this. Guns will never disappear. We need plan B
100% agree. Isn’t it reasonable for post of Plan B to be limiting the access to mass killing machines? Keep all the shotguns and pistols you want. But why does a regular citizen deserve access to automatic weapons? I know it can’t reach zero but we can get a lot closer.
I agree completely, but it’s a slippery slope and happened in Canada. They took the hand guns, and continually put out a new list of banned rifles. People love their guns, for what ever reason they have and do not like when other people tell them they can’t have them.
Yeah, I get that. Part of living in a society is compromise, though. It’s not just about what each individual wants. Anyway, I’ve seen and felt too much sadness and anger for one day and shouldn’t have told you to go to hell. I wish you peace and love, truly.

I’m sure you’re a responsible gun owner, like 99% of gun owners are. But the remaining percentage can - and do, over and over and over - do SO MUCH damage.
Yeah, but the killing potential of guns is so much higher than knives. I’m not suggesting that we can make sick people disappear. But lowering the prevalence of guns would lower the killing ability of those crazy people by quite a lot.
I understand and agree. There needs to be some laws put in place. Fire arms training and proper storage would bring these horrific incidents down, but people will never give up their guns.
