Yeah, I mean I don’t get the outrage. Six months is the standard. If you think it should be longer for everyone I get it. Argue that. I hate they guy, but he’s not doing anything new or nefarious by ending it after 8 months.

Plus these people are millionaires..if they need protection. They can pay for it like every other millionaire does.

Well now I just read that it had been extended previously. A president with integrity would either honor the previous president’s wishes or make sure there’s no credible threats before deciding to cancel it. I can’t be certain he’s doing that.

The fact that Biden signed it in secret doesn’t look good. The rule is 6 months, why should taxpayer be on the hook to go over that?

Yeah, I get it. No need for secrecy from Biden either. If theres a real concern, be open about it and explain why. 6 extra months of Secret Service cost shouldn’t have been too hard to justify.

And if you can’t, then it’s not needed.
