the voter turnout was around 66%. 34% couldnt be bothered to vote. Of the 66%, 49.8% voted for him.. that's ~33% of the US, hardly the majority.

It doesn’t seem that those that didn’t bother to vote bother to hate Trump. Right now Trump has about 45% of support, 51% don’t support him? Hate? Less than 50%.
