Having a hell year, ended up with digestive attack last week and in the ER, thinking I had a heart attack.
Because I was kind of an odd kid (ADS), I think I was often not accepted, threatened, and not included. This was traumatic.
Yes I was not really on a true road to healing until I completed a year of somatic therapy - you can feel the difference inside

Seconding therapy, somatic therapy & (for me) deep tissue massage has changed my life. Physical pain I’ve been carrying for years is suddenly…gone? I keep expecting everything to tighten back up. Hope you can find some healing 🤞
Oh yeah, I have a great team of bodyworkers supporting me. Recently added acupuncture to the menu, really digging it. I've come so far over the last several years.
Lot's of rich research into generational trauma more fermented foods! Post War Germany - sauerkraut by the buckets Make your own! Prevents spoilage and helps get your gut back. Also was the heck out of your veggies and fruits! Pesticides and age-control agents will destroy your intestinal lining.

Yep. Long term stress lowers Serotonin levels. Serotonin is responsible for, among other things, vascular health & digestion. So cue migraines & digestive issues, which, of course cause more stress. Rinse and repeat.
I can only eat solid food if I take digestive enzymes with it. I eat a restricted diet to avoid migraines. I take 5-HTP every night to help repair the vascular & digestive tract damage, but it's slow going.
That must be awfully uncomfortable for you.
