It’s not just maddening, it is, to me, terrifying because there is very little hope that the public at large will take any meaningful action if they are this dis-engaged at this very late stage. The building is on fire 🔥, the exits are blocked & the fire trucks have broken down. 😔
This is a country problem. Not partisan. Everyone is & w/b hurting if they're allowed to go on. But Reps have to be vocally mad too. What Trump & ilk doing doesn't benefit them either. Again, what can be done?
France 1934 - Fascists stormed Parliament. Within days 12 Million people went on strike, shutting down the country. Thats almost 30% of the population- all the workers. Only 1.5% of Americans showed up for No Kings Day - 1 lousy day. What to do? Demand action from Dem leaders & show up every day.
