winforms i can't speak about since i haven't used it, swing i have used and i have found it downright pleasant compared to dealing with web hell. kinda sucks to theme, though

I haven't done any swing, but the winforms I've had to do was horrifying. Just incredible inheritance towers and very subtle leaks all over the place. I prefer even 2010's rx-inspired web tech over it
