Maybe - we used to connect with one another in 'public space'. Now we have to connect in 'private space', with exposed identities. Not sure where I'm going with this, but... Was it OK at one time to accept a public persona as valid? Were we allowed a private life? That seems to be gone.

So many questions, right? And implications for decisions that were made without realizing how things would evolve. I sometimes regret that I made the shift from an anonymous identity to my real name years ago, for instance.
