They aren't though. At least mine weren't. I don't know what they say if you test positive for something, but I'm guessing it's "don't worry, high probability of a false positive, but maybe do an amnio to be safe"

My experience is quite dated at this point but the absurd game of telephone from the PHDs who developed the test to a marketing dept to some 24 year old ASU Tri-Delt to an overworked MD to an anxious patient or parent left me with very little optimism results would be properly communicated
