One very effective tactic I've noticed YIMBYs employ is focusing on one very specific policy change and hammering away at it constantly. This is as opposed to waging grand ideological battles against whatever ism of the day

One of the big reasons I'm a YIMBY is they're one of the few groups on the left that have managed to actually achieve some goals the past 5 years.
