I was an intern at privately owned zoo in the Florida panhandle in the 80s. We had a baby elephant there that was about the size of this beauty. She was playful like a puppy or kitten. I relished the days I got to work with her, especially when it came time for her bath.

I worked at a zoo once. The baby elephant used to charge at one of her caretakers because she was always so happy to see him. He had to teach her not to do that, as she was over 250lb and toppled him with love many times. 🐘 ❤️
