Good, because bears in actual residential neighborhoods is a tragedy waiting to happen. It may work out for the people, but the animals pay.

There are the occasional bears here. Also foxes, mountain lions, deer, elk, moose…etc. They were here first and the towns around here are small.

I mean, yes, it can end badly for the animals (though I honestly believe the people in charge of things like removing/rehoming bears try not to punish the animals for existing) but it’s simply not avoidable,

We live next to a marsh, we get to see all kinds of critters. It's awesome.

You are very lucky. And that's the thing they wander... 🤣 For some reason that reminded me of the first time I used remote start and I had no idea exactly how many deer hung out in the yard. Deer Lord, Yellowstone must be going. 🤣

My biggest concern was that the bear was brown. Black bears live where I come from, and sometimes pass through towns. You definitely should give them their distance and/or loudly shoo them back into the woods (no yelling if you’re between mom & cubs, though), but they’re pretty chill overall.

Being mindful of trash too. They're too smart. 🤣
