I worked for a police department that had K-9s. They’re selected for good temperament and often live with officer families with small kids. “Act vicious” is a trick, just like “roll over.” They’re great doggies - they just learn some special skills. 🦮

They have literally mauled people to death at the command of the handlers countless times, especially POC victims, and they almost always die in hot cars or being beaten to death by the pig that "owns" them.

May not be a popular opinion here, but I have worked in healthcare for a long time, and I remember the first time we had K-9 units in hospital. The dogs and their handlers made a big difference. The dogs had their own ID badges and their title was “behavior modification specialist”.
