Fun fact about elephants: they are one of the few confirmed animals to undergo menopause other than us. This is largely believed to be so that the grandmother's can lead the herd and spread their wisdom long after they are unable to bear children.

Another alleged fun fact: when Elephants see Humans, bits of dopamine releases in their brains, meaning that they think we're cute the same way we think Puppies are cute, allegedly.

The dopamine thing I believe was fabricated, but they do typically see us favorably! Some scientists do think it may be a cuteness factor, that since we have rounded faces we might resemble children, but were not quite certain why they don't see us as a threat.

Depends where you are in the world. There are some elephants that have hunted humans in relation for having watched their herd be murdered. Saw a documentary about it years ago.

Yes, some elephants are definitely aggressive. Often for good reason. I'd say these are the exception and not the rule though, save for males who are more likely to be aggressive during certain times of year.
