Okay, but counterpoint, that is actually awesome, we should have Ocean Pugs, and in fact our not having them is a grotesque offense against our very way of life.

There's a breeding project in the works to unfuck the messed up parts about pugs.

A lot of work is going on with a number of breeds, which is great. Another one is the German Shepherd in Germany is being bred to new standards to address hip dysplasia.

That's great. Heartening to see at least some are trying to correct damage humans have done.

They'll be wearing little sweaters and pink bows around their necks...

Fish puppies! I was swimming at a beach in Rhode Island, which was the one site of a fatal great white attack in the state up until that point. I was treading water and one of those hit me right between the shoulder blades. I shrieked and walked on water back to shore.

Imagine how chill you have to be for a wild freaking animal to just nap like that with you... what an experience! And the little snores? Too much!
