Since you ask. Up to about weaning they do, depending on diet. But a chain on a lamb of that age (5-6 months at a guess) is a red flag because sheep are generally not kept alone (it's not good for them) and pet lambs won't run away unless scared. I hope I'm wrong and this isn't cruelty for views.

I actually had to look at it again blown up to see the chain to be honest. I live in the country. The young animals I see, cows, bulls, goats etc, playing around is hilarious.

We have a lot of sheep around here and the young lambs in particular (up to about six weeks or two months) do a lot of running and jumping, often in big gangs. Great to watch.

I think they are playing. All or nearly all young animals engage in some sort of play. And toward the very end of the video you can see the child do a very small jump, which causes the sheep to leap around. It’s so sweet!
