I don’t know. I don’t think geese, ducks, chickens, turkeys, like to be petted, rocked or touch too much to buy humans.

Maybe it’s just me. Come to think of it I don’t even like to pet my dogs but I like them a lot.

I've had pet ducks and geese and wild guys who lived on my property and all of them were pretty happy to be cuddled.

I think it depends on the individual. I've hatched chickens that would stand on my open palm, then nestle into it and fall asleep. Or walk up and jump into my lap when I was sitting down.

Long ago I raised ducklings. In our pool, they would paddle along and then ride on my shoulders.

This is so so sweet! I sent this to my mom and mother inlaw w/a note that said "Dan in a yr or so". Dan is my husband. He fell in love with ducks while helping me rescue wild mallards mostly, and now wants to buy a home with land big enough for a pond so we can have our "own kids" aka 🦆🦆🦆's.
