With help from humans from what I recall. Part of putting some into captivity was because they weren’t finding each other to mate. So they made it easier for them to hook up by putting in a habitat together. It worked!

So fun I was watching Kung Fu Panda 3 with my 6yo niece. Featured a bunch of pandas rolling down hills. I asked her if pandas really do roll down hills and she said no or that she didn't know. We proceeded to watch Panda videos rolling down hills for 30 minutes. So fun to show kids new stuff. 😁🥰

I have seen them in China and they are playful... the little red panda's you have to keep an eye on they can bite.

I think you’re probably a bit more remote than we, although we do have bears, mountain lions and a few more but we’re up in the mountains with lots of winter snow so some critters are smart enuf to stay low.

Do not be foolish. This one owns the trail. I tried once to chase a moose out of my daughter’s yard with a pickup truck so my grandkids could go outside to play. He didn’t move so much as an eyelash. The kids played inside that day.

We have garbage can bears. Got a bear free one and didn’t see a bear all summer.

Whatever they told you about black bears not being scary, not totally accurate. Not as bad as grizzlies— but don’t bother them. A Forest Service friend was chased up a tree and had his toes nibbled at on his wedding day. Was a bit late to the nuptials.

They remind me of baby elephants which clearly want to play and cavort like a colt or a dog (and attempt to do so), but are hampered by their big bodies.

I looked that up. It's not true. Bamboo lacks the psychoactive compounds found in substances that cause intoxication or altered states of mind, although research suggests that it may release dopamine similarly to fat and sugar consumption in humans.

When I die, if I can come back, I want to come back as a giant panda 🐼
