My dog scrambles out of the tub, runs for the door and tries to squeeze through the space where the draft comes in. We live in a city apartment.

Your Berner & my Whippet may be related 😉if blood isn't drawn (human) it wasn't a proper bath.

Same with my chiweenie. I have to muzzle him. People have compared him to Hannibal Lector. And he usually gets the muzzle off at the end and bites me anyway. 🤣😣

Man, don’t we all! That would cost us each about $500, last about 3-4 hours. That’s *without* the champagne. You know the humans would charge us $10 for 10 oz. of water! Plus it’d be a different person for each one of those segments, meaning tips for each of the people, expecting prob 30%.

A mobile dog groomer started business near me and offered to do my Husky to help promote his services. It was hilarious. He opened the door when he finished and it looked like a snow globe inside. That was the last Husky he did.

I had a Husky years ago. My FIL saw he needed a bath. I said it's $60 at the groomers- this was '99-'00. He didn't want us to "waste" money, so he bought dog shampoo for a backyard bath. I told him, repeatedly, not to. Two hours later, I have a shampoo'd dog and pissed FIL for the groomer.

A dog groomer's dream.

Extremely Good Doggie! My dogs would go berserk if I tried this, as such it's the hose and outside. Which reminds me the Basset Hound needs a bath, really, really bad.

I use a two tray pail with warm water & a sponge. Dampen fur & apply shampoo & then use water soaked sponge to rinse. A hose is not a tool my pups will tolerate. Also use dog wipes for in between jobs.
