My dog tried to eat the waves the first time we took her to dog each. I wasn't sure if that much salt water was good for her, but it all worked out OK.

I remember when we took our 2 Maltese Shihtzus to the beach for the first time. They went crazy like they were puppies again! They just loved it. Mitzi and Lulu have long passed, but thanks for bringing back a fond memory ❤️

My pup wouldn't go in the water. She was not sure of that wave action and kept one eye on it at all times. Actually, her reaction really surprised me.

First time at the beach my younger brother who was around 5 or 6 ran straight for the water and a wave caught him and sent him sprawling and tumbling back up to shore. My Uncle said "Well he's done for the day". My brother got up, drenched and exclaimed "That was great"! and ran back in :)
