They are so good at that. Skills!🥰
They are so good at that. Skills!🥰
So flipping adorable!!
so cute!!
They need more water 🌊.
Cause that's where they go.
I’ve been getting my border collie fix here (amazing skills from the dogs and expansive views if the Scottish countryside): lhttps://m.youtube.com/@seanthesheepman5845
Made my day so much better watching this video
Omg! That was so cool!
"Phew finally!'😊
And there was much splishing and sploshing.

The ducklings are scared 🥹
🤦
How adorable
It's what they do.👍👏
perfect! 10/10
I took my 8 month old Border Collie to the dog park and she herded all the other dogs into the corner of the field. 😂🤣😂🤣 She's terrified of sheep, horses, cows and kittens. 🤣😂🤣
In Wisconsin that would be considered a lake.
Good dog..... time for a treat!
Good doggie.
"If it moves, I herd it."
So dang cute!

I love watching them work. Such intelligent dogs.
Lovely 💕. Bigger puddle please.
Good, good doggie.❤️
loved the video recently that showed the BC pup learning how to do those moves, from Mom
As thou art Collie so too wilt thy seek to herd, and direct, the waddling of the ducks.
Lovely!
What a good boy!!!!!!
🙄☺️
Gentle precision work 😍
I adore animals People suck
I love watching these dogs maneuvering animals around. So intelligent 🤓
We take for granted how amazing dogs are. We can train them to do so many things.
It's in his DNA.
I'd love to see a piece on how they go about training these smart pups with those whistles and commands.
Many are born with it. I took my young border collie to a sheep farm; he had never been introduced to herding. He watched the lead dog for five minutes and took over. He herded those sheep as though he was born to do it.
That's a real quick study!
I absolutely love watching dogs do what they were born to do ❤️❤️❤️
😍
Good boy❤️❤️
Now, why can’t video game escort missions go to the smoothie
Amazing
Borders have a herding instinct. At least mine does. So smart and such beautiful souls
We have several in the current administration. Pushing, pushing, not gently though
Amazing! ❤️
WOW! That takes skill. I probably scatter the little chickies all over the yard.
I knew this breed of dog was used to herd sheep. But this is the first time I've seen ducklings being herded.
My Australian Shepherd used to round up all of our garbage cans and roll them into a corner of the yard near the fence. He was very protective of the garbage cans. Not exactly the same as the Border but herding dogs all have this strong drive.
They will herd anything that moves, ours had a habit of herding children as a pup.
Great as a teacher's assistant. Good idea. Now, can they herd cats?
If you don't give them a job, they will make one up for themselves.
Even when you give them a job they're likely to come up with their own at that stage.
Exactly why I prefer Mcnab Dogs to Border Collies. They only herd what they are told to herd. Possibly because they are smarter.
Border collies are well known to be the smartest dog breed, quite a few studies show this. Mcnabs have a lower herding instinct but are easily trained to do so, this is what sets borders apart in a working environment but what also makes them harder to keep as pets.
Obviously you haven’t had personal experience with Mcnabs. I have had both and Mcnabs are more intelligent than Border Collies. They haven’t included Mcnabs in the studies because until recently they were relatively unknown. As a breed Mcnabs don’t have a lower herding instinct.
Plenty have. You're more than welcome to your personal opinion, but I'll go with studies and facts thank you.
Because Mcnabs aren’t recognized by the AKC, they, to my knowledge, haven’t been included in the studies involving dog breed intelligence. I’m happy most people are unaware of them. It saves the breed from being bred towards something they aren’t.
Mcnabs are to Border Collies as Malinois are to German Shepherds. Smarter, tougher, more athletic, a stronger bond with their person.
“This creature is not in the place it’s supposed to be! I can make it go to the place!”
I used to have a collie. Gently guided anything in to anything. Happily.
I love how sheepdogs just have this inherent instinct to push creatures to places
Thousands of years of breeding have created a creature whose boundless joy in moving other critters around is amazing to behold.
They do it with small human children, too, if you're not careful. It's funny to watch.
Not just the children.😂 Our neighbors have a Portuguese herding dog and when he is ready to go outside he will give one bark, then nip at the ankles of his owner as he walks to the door. I guess he wants to make sure his owner is going the right way. Finn is an absolute love!💕
Ah but you see, I once was one of those small human children!
No waaaaay, me too! Did you survive being herded around by dog?
Yeah the shelties were very gentle about it
Wowwww ❤️
❤️🐾🐾
BORDER POWER! 🔥✊
😂
Master at work! Good morning J! ☺️
Top o'mornin trouble. 😍
Where was this dog when my boys were teenagers????
Almost looked like he shook his head no to the sheep. The way they pulled up, they knew who's boss!
what a guy
Great herding dogs who herd with directions. They work in tandem with the herder for an amazing partnership.
❤️
Good dog!
Feels like me guiding my beautiful grandson, 13, back towards the container garden, from that newborn black snake understand a rock!💙💙💙💙💯💯💯💯✅
🥰 could be her mother right now
Herd dogs are the most intelligent dogs ever.
💙
Awesome
Do not get this breed as a pet unless you have a big back yard and can keep it busy with tasks. They are highly intelligent and would be miserable just cooped up inside. Also, the ducklings are like” Dude! Now we are all covered in mud…thanks!”😂🐥
😂will not stop playing fetch until you actually put it away & told to get water
Labs are the same. If you don’t keep them busy and tire them out every day they will destroy your house.
Rottweilers as well. Can we just say that if you don’t intend on taking care of your pupper, don’t get a pupper?
Like an Australian Shepherd, if you don’t give them a job, they’ll find one and you might not like it. Border Collies can learn hundreds of words. They need exercise and a job.
Don’t buy a dog…period.
So, so true. Crazy intelligent, with built in instincts and the most loveable, loyal darlings. I miss my Billy😢
Wow
