Has anyone considered that having a bunch of incompetent, non-medical hacks in charge of public health & the safe guarding of deadly biological pathogens is a recipe for disaster? Anyone read The Stand or Hot Zone?

Yes. I think The STAND is King’s scariest book. I just reread it recently. It still holds up.

The last King book I read was Pet Sematary. I was like " this is so dumb" page after page until the last page and then I was awake all night with the lights on. 😳🤣
