Likely these people just reinterpreting Harris/Trump within their own nation's politics. For example Spain ruling party is self described socialist. A thing that's not allowed in USA. The context makes this kinda of comparisons meaningless IMO

Givin a binary choice, you think they would pick Trump? Really? They wouldn't pick the person closer to them, even if they are still further right? That doesn't make sense at all
the point is very much u cannot get a binary choice & a lot more ppl than u think would veer towards trump than the polling posted would indicate not that he would necessarily win in any of those elections. he would however likely get a lot more fucking seats than any of u seem to consider
Trump winning in the US litterally flipped the polls left in both Canada and Australia. Lmao
did carney win in a landslide, or did he win a pretty tightly contested election?
also like poilievre still won more seats than he had previously despite trump literally threatening to annex canada pls fucking be serious for a second & understand the reality & threat of rising fascism
in the uk there were council elections in a lot of places (not london which does obvs go way less right wing) but the reform party came out w the most council seats & that & the other patently right wing party outnumbered the more historically centre & left wing by like 2:1
in germany this year the afd which is an ultra right party increased their vote share to 20% ish w the centre-right christian conservative party getting just shy of 30% so yeah an 85% harris outcome is very obviously bullshit there
in poland the centre / centre right party just survived a vote of no confidence. in the netherlands their govt basically just disolved because the ultra-right freedom party removed their support & had like 24 seats of the 51 that made the majority which were obvs ultra/right-leaning
That could be the case but neither you nor I knows that. The specific question asked is, "‘If you were to vote in the American election for President, who would you vote for?" That to me implies that the hypothetical is that you're an American citizen and you got to vote in the election.
My point is that they don't know what being an American means because they don't live in America and haven't absorbed the political culture. So they're just interpreting from what they know and people often when given only 2 choices pick one of those choices even when they could make up another
Europeans, (well, at least Northern, Western, and Central Europeans) are also a lot more educated and therefore probably know more about America's two parties than your average voter. Certainly more than your average Republican voter.
what fantasy are u living in
also that is hideously bigoted
The same world where you think the average moderate conservative in Germany would vote for Donald Trump and the Republican Party he's molded for himself. Your stupid ass called me bigoted in another reply, I think in fact you're the one who is bigoted, against Europeans.
lol ok
ur exact words were 'kamala harris would've won in a landslide if she ran in almost any other OECD country'
