Point to any legislation Newsom has signed that restricts the rights of trans people or the LGBTQ+ community. He expressed his PERSONAL opinion & like other Democratic politicians, he has a personal opinion that is PERSONAL. He doesn’t use it to legislate.
Biden is personally opposed to abortion but supported Roe. Why? Because he doesn’t think he should impose his PERSONAL beliefs on people who don’t share them. Newsom’s personal beliefs are his own. You don’t like them? He’s not asking you to, but he’s also NOT creating laws based on them.
There are “progressives” who might not agree with EVERY “progressive” idea, but unlike the far right, they DON’T shove their own personal beliefs down the throats of those who have different beliefs. I’m tired of this pointless conversation.
