Book of the New Sun is such a weird one as an influence because I read it when basically the entire playtest document (which includes so much more than the ashcan) was already written before I read it, and yet... everything I've written since then and every edit I've made has been touched by Wolfe.

I watched it with friends and described it as "A psychic weapon to be deployed against people with paranoia or who are high" What a wet film! You might also enjoy Flesh and Blood with Rutger Howard.
