Katie is the person for the moment. Not Padilla. What has he done in this moment except for create one “pick me” viral moment? Nothing. He’s voted for Trump appointees and I haven’t seen anything significant from him opposing this administration. He’s not who we need here in CA.

I love Katie Porter and she has proven she can carry votes from Orange Co, etc. If its Padilla, fine, and then please appoint Katie to the Senate seat.

Padilla is such a newbie in the Senate. I think he is just starting to hit his stride, and I'd like to see him dig in and be there to lead the way - with Schiff - to take our county back after midterms. Minor divisions, just musing here not arguing. 😉

We’ve never had a female governor and it’s time we do. Katie is awesome. We’ve also never had a Latino governor either. Alex Padilla is well known and respected throughout the state.

She refuses to condemn the genocide in Gaza.

Gaza issues are not California's. We all need to stop demanding purity (or obedience o a slate of issues) in politicians. It's what's killing the Democratic Party.

Condemning genocide is not a purity test. It's basic human decency. Any politician who does not condemn genocide lacks basic human decency and should not be elected to any office.
