If undocumented immigrants aren’t subject to the jurisdiction of the United States then they essentially have diplomatic immunity and can’t be deported.

And couldn’t be arrested or convicted for any crimes they committed while in the country.

They can be deported (as diplomats can), but can't be charged with crimes and imprisoned (which they are, and diplomats aren't).
