I don't know if Eric Adams/Andrew Cuomo represent every Democrat. Too many for sure. But if, as a politician, Cuomo losing worries you, then you are likely part of the problem. And good riddance

Chris, your analysis is intriguing. However, you totally dismissed VP Harris’s campaign. Mamdani won very little support from black voters. Dems are already right on the issues. If they choose replicating his playbook as a way to success in 2026, they risk snatching defeat from the jaws of victory!
Hayes is right. If the moderate Democratic politicians want to broaden their support they need to actively listen and engage diverse groups. This is also including independent voters who don’t know which way to go. 😊

Oh my god, what absolute bullshit. New York does as New York does. It is a unique city and a unique constituency. I ain't here to tell them what to do, and neither are you or anybody else. By the same token, no other constituency follows what New York does. And y'all newsies should know that.
I mean it's a pretty repeatable pattern. Step one: represent the densest urban region in the country. Step two: have your opponent be absolutely hated for his previous terms in office.
