The reality is that, even considering all the gun violence, a remarkably small amount of young school children die to guns. And yet Giffords and Everytown continue to show such young children in all their ads to ban guns.

Most of those older teens dying to guns on the streets are likely in gangs that shoot each other up. If we really wanted to save lives we'd eradicate gangs first. Getting rid of gangs would also likely revitalize communities ravaged by them.
