In a communist system, the government exerts comprehensive control over a society's major resources, including the economy, major industries, property, and essential services like education and transportation. The government also controls mass media, foreign relations, and national defense.

A communist society does not have a government You are describing capitalism and replacing "capitalist class" with "government"

There is no such thing as a “communist system”. There is no “economy” in communism. All governments in practice exert comprehensive control over the things you mention. That is a feature of government, not of communism (especially) or of any specific mode of political economy.
