-11/27/2024: Robotic converted to open L hepatectomy for liver metastasis -1/3/2025: Given rising LFTs in cholestatic pattern, obtained MRCP which showed new biliary stricture in the R hepatic duct at the hilum with diffuse R intrahepatic biliary dilatation.
-1/27/2025: Rising LFTs since stent biliary stent placement. Stent not seen on abdominal XR suggesting stent outmigrated per ERCP team. -1/13/2025: ERCP showed two short focal strictures in the presumed hilum and R main hepatic duct, s/p dilation and stent placement.
-3/18/2025: CT torso with no evidence of disease recurrence or new metastases; similar to slightly increased moderate intrahepatic bile duct dilatation with apparent stricture at the hepatic hilum possibly related to prior surgery; stable 2-6 mm pulmonary nodules.
-4/18/2025: C6D1 mFOLFOX (delayed by 2 weeks due to COVID infection) this was the worst, lowest, most painful point. hit me right when my white blood cells were being made. farUV broke the week before, too. I wasn't finished
Received FOLFIRINOX x 4 cycles (9/2024 - 10/2024). Then underwent L hepatectomy to remove solitary liver metastasis on 11/27/2024; surgical pathology showed expected metastatic colorectal adenocarcinoma with negative margins.
Now on adjuvant mFOLFOX planned for 8 cycles, to complete 6 months total of chemotherapy (including initial 4 cycles of FOLFIRINOX prior to liver metastatectomy). Most recent restaging scans on 3/18/2025 after 4 cycles showed NO evidence of recurrence or new metastases.
C8D1, the last of my chemotherapies, began May 15, 2025. I am currently (at time of writing) 29 hours away from completing my last chemotherapy, while sitting at home on a slow drip. I hope providing some of this data may help others-any Science types may use it
