And there are the indirect effects, like removing funding for programs like Head Start. No affordable preschool means more mothers will be forced out of the workplace.
But that funding is still in place today, isn't it? I just read an article last week saying that it was being discussed, but hasn't been put in place yet, is that correct? You probably know way more about this than I do
It’s already defunded. NIH dismantled, Unis defunded, 100’s of scientists lost their grants completely, the rest are tied to NOT using keywords decided on by the Regime. Some are coming up to 🇨🇦 to work. I’ve seen many lose grad &international students too, lab funding, which also shuts them down. 🤷♀️

Costco &surprisingly Walmart, have been resisting Führer🌮 Regime’s pressure so far. Walmart in particular came out swinging over lack of due process for deportations recently. Supported No Kings protests. Most ppl switched from Target to Costco, but some are starting to ease the Walmart boycott.
