Yup, this was the honors scale. Film Study and most other non-core classes at my school had the regular grading scale, but the honors scale was all my program had, that & the AP/IB scale.

To my knowledge, this was our regular grading scale from middle school up for everybody & our AP/IB/Dual Enrollment scale was only different in that you couldn’t get below a “B-“ (which didn’t quite exist GPA-wise?) because teachers treated it like you were slacking off & would have you removed.
At my school, you could get an F in AP. They did not give a fuck! 🤣 They were like, “you can get an F in college so you can get an F here.” IB was different. To stay in you couldn’t get too many Cs or you’d get booted. Honors had to exist because it was a school w/multiple programs.
Plus the “extra” courses like Film Study and Classical Music (which I were in) got “regular” grading, which is below honors (91-100 A, 90-81 B, etc).
