I’ve wondered about the images of Guardsmen picking up trash. It occurred to me that their officers might have been making a point by assigning them to such a mundane task.

The point was more about the fact that DC had its budget removed by Congress and municipal services haven't been there for a while now. So the trash literally isn't getting picked up post-OBBB. My sister lives there.
