Ron Popeil sold over 3 million cans of spray on hair in the 1980s. Romans put a mixture of ashes from donkey testicles and urine on their head. We've used trepanning as a treatment. There are centuries of guys wearing powdered wigs to hide it. Those and many other examples were more evident.
