Due to certain circumstances (over eating to fill the void) I am now fat. This is not a new normal, however, given my situation of being unattractive and old anyway (note selfie posted as proof of ugliness), I may just allow the fat to stay and possibly grow.

Remember, your brain processes your vision. How you feel gets mixed in to where your attention is drawn when seeing yourself. It happens to me too.
It’s annoying but I was told my issue is also down to the inconsistent parenting styles from both parents. So it’s like normal human insecurities plus trauma and I can only try and see the comical side.
I can see how that would affect a person.💜 Humour is an important survival skill.

Our brains are mean to us. I don't think you look fat at all. Body dysmorphia is a hell of a thing. It can trick our minds and make us focus on all of the bad things about our body. Try and look for the positive things about your body. 💜🫂🤍
