If he actually does will it still be open as a tourist attraction? 🙄 I visited Alcatraz in 2014. There was an exhibit by artist AI Weiwei on display, it grappled with the concepts of freedom & confinement. Super thought provoking, it stuck with me as I'm a proponent of prison reform. Creepy place.

This is beyond ridiculous. It’s tiny, it has no sanitation and no running water. Only a few buildings (those part of the tours) have electricity. Every resource has to be sent over via boat. Bay Areans are like, WTAF? Plus it cuts off the revenue stream from tourism. 🖕🏼🖕🏼
