I remember my anti-vax coworker (we work at a major hospital) saying I thought it was just a bad flu when lockdown and work from home was instituted.

I lived through the first wave of AIDS in NYC and I admit for the first minute of Covid I was scared.

I lived through volunteering in a hospital during that time, the lack of precautions then and during early COVID-19 was mind boggling.
