There's no money in telling people how much imports are gonna cost if people can already assume: • it can change between when you buy the advice and the goods arriving • either it's available locally and you'll just buy that for ease, or it's not and you'll just have to find out

Contracting has taught me that if the requirements are constantly changing, you're setting yourself up to fail if you start building the software. Show the client a shiny thing! Distract them with donuts, coffee, and PowerPoint slides! ANYTHING but don't build shit until they stop fucking with it.
