I lived in Philly when First Union Bank bought the stadium there. It quickly became the "F.U. Center".... 🤣

I worked at a hospital that was once called Fairview-University Medical Center after a merger. You could still see FUMC stenciled all over the place years later.

And of course there’s Roger’s Place in Edmonton and Roger’s Arena in Vancouver. Boring as hell and confusing to boot. Why it couldn’t have been Roger’s Skydome? We aren’t alone, though. What the hell is Rate Field?

As a Patriots fan it is very odd that the stadium still being named after a mediocre shaving company actually makes it quite unique while everything else is just named after a bank or real estate investment firm.

I think it’s not the same company? 🤔 Rogers Communications Inc. is a Canadian-based telecommunications and media company - they own A LOT of sports & media real estate across Canada.
