Foreign language seems wrong, but TBH, I can’t think of a better place to slot that in. And if they taught older styles of cursive, that sounds like something I’d sign up for. 👍

Yeah, they were calling it an “elective” and a “language”. I may have inserted the foreign part to be fair - I genuinely can’t remember. But we got an intern at work who was telling us all about her friend who took the course and I just flashed back to second grade.

it may be, but that is odd. the recipe is a classic Gold Cake or the Gild and Silver Cakes from the 1940s-50s
